On Wednesday, June 18, Manchester-by-the-Sea first responders attended an emergency planning training hosted by the Cape Ann Regional Emergency Planning Committee and the City of Gloucester. This training is part of a series created to help Cape Ann communities collaborate their response during emergency events. Wednesday’s tabletop exercise focused on hazardous materials such as chemical spills. Advanced preparation is critical to ensuring the safety of the Manchester community and beyond.
