Happy 4th of July! As we gather to celebrate our nations 250th anniversary, our goal is to ensure everyone safely enjoys the festivities in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Please review the following event guidelines ahead of time.

Singing Beach Fireworks
Friday, July 3, 2026
Beach Concert 7 PM | Fireworks Show 9 PM.
Schedule:
4 PM – Beach Parking Lot Closes to the Public at 4 PM (All vehicles must be removed)
5 PM – Beach Street Closes at Masconomo Street for Pedestrian Traffic.
5 PM – Beach Parking Lot Opens for Handicapped/Limited Mobility Only.
7 PM – Beach Concert
9 PM – Fireworks
Parking: Follow the direction of the Manchester Police who will be directing traffic and parking cars along Beach Street, Old Neck Road, and Tappan Street. Public parking is also available behind Town Hall, Memorial School, and the High School.
Prohibited Items: No drones, cooking fires, alcohol, or fireworks are allowed and will be enforced.
First Aid/Lost Children: A tent for first aid and lost children will be set up in the beach circle. Make a meeting plan for your family.
Exiting the Event: After the show, we appreciate your patience as the Manchester Police and Town staff direct pedestrians and vehicles safely out of the event.
July 4th Parade
July 4, 2026 | 10 AM Rain or Shine
Parade Route: The parade route starts on Lincoln Street and travels to Vine Street, School Street, Pleasant Street, Pine Street, Central Street, Union Street, Norwood Ave, and ends at Coach Field Playground for an afterparty.
Parade After Party: At Coach Field Field on Brook Street. Free hot dogs, ice cream and more festivities.
Parking: Parking is restricted along the parade route on July 4 from 8 AM to noon. Roads will close on a rolling basis as the parade marches by so get to your viewing destination early.
Extreme Heat Safety: We are under an Extreme Heat Warning issued by the National Weather Service through July 4. Remember to hydrate and know the signs of heat illness.
