The Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea will issue a Winter Parking Ban starting at 12 AM on Saturday, February 7 until further notice due to the forecast of 3 to 6 inches of snow in addition to the large amount of snow currently on the ground.
During the Winter Parking Ban, on-street parking is prohibited to allow DPW to safely clear roads. Off street parking is available in the municipal lots behind Town Hall, Norwood Ave., and Brook St. Field.
Extreme cold air will follow the snow on Sunday, February 8 with wind chills as low as -20 degrees. The Town’s warming center is at Town Hall and the Police Station should you need to charge devices and get out of the cold.
