The Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea will issue a Winter Parking Ban starting at 12 PM on Sunday, January 25 until further notice due to the impending winter storm. The storm is expected to bring 1-2 feet of snow to Manchester with wind gusts up to 30 mph.
Due to the high amount of snow expected the parking ban will be strictly enforced. If your car remains on the street, it will be ticketed and towed. Off street parking is available in the municipal lots behind Town Hall, Norwood Ave., and Brook St. Field. The risk of flooding is low in this storm.
