Due to the impending storm, a Winter Parking Ban will go into effect at 10 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2024 and until further notice. On street parking is prohibited during the parking ban to allow DPW to safely clear roads.
Manchester Police and Fire Departments are ready to assist in any emergency. The following preparation tips are recommended for residents:
1. Charge electronic devices ahead of time.
2. Pick up food, and medical prescriptions needed in advance.
3. Keep home exhaust vents clear of snow.
4. Dig out fire hydrants and storm drains in your neighborhood.
5. Clear snow from the sidewalk on your property.
6. Check on your elderly neighbors and those who may need assistance.
7. In the event of a power outage, please contact National Grid at https://www.nationalgridus.com/MA-Home/ to report an outage.
