Our animal control officer plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community’s animals and residents. This shared service with the Town of Hamilton allows for effective management of animal-related issues, including stray or lost animals, animal welfare concerns, barn inspections, and educating the public on responsible pet ownership. Hayes Demeule, our ACO is responsible for enforcing local animal regulations, responding to wildlife complaints, and investigating reports of animal cruelty or neglect.
